The new Jungle Book looks astonishing.
The upcoming remake - set for release in April of next year - brings to life the formerly cartoon-animated, legendary adventure, and is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man).
2016's The Jungle Book will carry a star-studded cast which includes Neel Sethi as Mowgli, Bill Murray as Baloo (just look at Baloo, he's magnificent!), Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Idris freaking Elba as Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Christopher Walken as King Louie and Lupita Nyong'o as Raksha.
But it gets better: Richard M. Sherman, who, alongside his late brother Robert B. Sherman, wrote songs for Disney's original animated Jungle Book, will write new songs for this film. And you better believe The Bare Necessities is going to be recycled and sung by Bill Murray!
Naturally, it will also be released in 3D.
We truly can't wait for this.
