The highly anticipated second season of True Detective returned to our screens last night, with Vince Vaughn and Ireland's own Colin Farrell in the lead roles. While Colin was praised by most people on Twitter for his portrayal of troubled cop, Ray Velcoro, the stand-out stars were his moustache and his chic bolo tie.
This is a big shout
I'm pretty sure #ColinFarrell's mustache already has the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award locked up #TrueDetectiveSeason2

That 'tache set the bar high for the series itself to follow
Haven't watched #TrueDetectiveSeason2 but it had better live up to Colin Farrell's mustache

Tie game on point
Colin Farrell's bolo tie is my spirit animal. #TrueDetective pic.twitter.com/mc6YWbKmJK

Never mind Colin, all people cared about was the tie
Some people were getting very creative
The million dollar question. Would you bet against either?
Who would win in a fight, Colin Farrell's mustache or Colin Farrell's bolo tie #TrueDetective

Very accurate
Some were too confused to get caught up in the mustache/bolo tie commotion
Some people did actually manage to comment on Colin's performance
#TrueDetective awesome start, amazing cast and as gripping as I imagined! #ColinFarrell legend

But some made just plain weird observations
However, the real thought provoker was Colin's 'kid'
Tune in to Sky Atlantic next Monday to see more of the front-running stars of the show: moustache and bolo tie.
