It was Brendan O'Connor's final Saturday Night Show last night, and it's likely that people might not forget it for some time.
Not because O'Connor is departing, but down to one of the strangest interviews that has ever been broadcast in Ireland. Restaurateur Dylan McGrath, who has featured on the RTE version of "Masterchef", was the interviewee, but from the moment that O'Connor introduced him something was always off.
He's actually on a lot of painkillers, so this should be good.
It's clear right from how McGrath walks onto the stage that he's not right. Despite this, the interview lasts for 15 bizarre minutes.
You can watch the full interview on RTE Player here.
If you don't believe me when I tell you it's strange, here's how twitter reacted to it:
That was very sad . Dylan McGrath was deeply troubled in that interview and shouldn't have been let on the air @RTESatnightshow

Disappointed in @rte having #DylanMcGrath go ahead with this interview when he's clearly heavily medicated! Feel bad for him! #satnightshow
