The pride in #HomeToVote has reached more than just Irish people and home and abroad, with countless website around the world reveling in the good feeling it created.
The likes of Buzzfeed, the Metro and The Gaurdian are jumped aboard and sure, why wouldn't they? Over the last 24 hours the hashtag has been tweeted 27,000 times. It peaked at 9.30am this morning with 110 tweets per minute.
