One Radio Station Throws Shade At The Whole One Direction Hiatus Fiasco In The Best Way Possible

One Radio Station Throws Shade At The Whole One Direction Hiatus Fiasco In The Best Way Possible

The announcement that One Direction are to go in numerous directions (sorry) in March next year obviously caused meltdown within the teenage girl universe. While the lads have said it's just a hiatus and that they'll be back, to said teens, it's basically the end of the world.

While all these deranged, lunatics have a breakdown, some people saw the lighter side of the whole hiatus/split fiasco and threw shade at the ridiculousness of the whole situation in the best way.

Classic FM, a radio station based in London, which we would imagine would never dream of playing a One Direction song, decided to helpfully write an article entitled The One Direction split – everything you need to know, which you would imagine would enlighten us as to their plans for their years' hiatus or something, bizarre and all as it would be coming from a classical radio station.

1D split 1

It did however tell us absolutely nothing about the split and instead took the opportunity to plug a Mahler symphony, which in my ignorance, I have no clue what that is apart from it's some classical piece of music. Clever move from them, or so you would think but their loyal followers weren't too thrilled about One Direction making it anywhere near the radio station's radar:

There's a lot to be said for actually clicking a link and reading the article before mouthing off but we can understand their shock. If they had clicked the link they would have seen the wittiness of their favourite radio station.

1D split 3

Great trolling by Classic FM and if you do want to listen to one hour, seventeen minutes and forty six seconds of Claudio Abbado Mahler then you will love their post.
