Apparently there are some people who aren't overly enthused about the royal visit to Ireland this week.
"Whaaaat?"
I know.
One of the protesters, vitriolic in his opposition of Prince Charles' presence on our hallowed soil, unleashed a hysterically funny, if somewhat concerning, tirade to 4fm reporter Robbie Blake on the Niall Boylan show, with presenter Boylan reveling in his self-established role as rogue moral compass in his admittedly entertaining response.
The man in question referred to Prince Charles as 'Big Ears' and called the royal family 'scumbags,' along with declaring his preference for a 32-county Ireland before refusing - or in Boylan's opinion failing - to name the six counties in Northern Ireland.
As Boylan presumably searched frantically for a map, he let loose on the man who he described as a 'clown.'
I'd probably go as far as to say there were 'no winners this week on Takeshi's Castle,' but as a sum of its parts it's a fantastically funny piece of radio.
