It takes a lot for Ryan Tubridy to be speechless, but that's what happened on last night's Late Late show. Which is strange, given that the host usually tries to do a good bit of the talking. But Tubs had no answer and didn't know what to say/do when he was interrupted by the Republic of Telly's Bridget & Eamon.
I have a confession to make. I've never seen Republic of Telly. But after this I might be encouraged to tune in more often after Bridget & Eamon's two minute cameo. I gather the pair are characters from the 1980's and were very excited to meet Gay Byrne.
It really is something else, and extremely hard to put in words without saying it was the highlight of Friday's late late show:
