A loving husband from Tennessee, USA is planning his second wedding, to give his wife the wedding of her dreams all over again after she lost her memory in a car crash and can't recall the happiest day of her life.
The high school sweethearts got married last August after two years of planning but just 19 days after their wedding, Mrs. Stamper was involved in a car crash that left her with a concussion and no memory of tying the knot.
Mr. Stamper, said it was heartbreaking to see his wife Justice go through photo albums of their big day and re-watch their wedding video without remembering any of it.
The bride had no recollection of anything from five weeks before the wedding including the ceremony, and their honeymoon.
Like the 2012 movie, "The Vow" promised his wife he would give her the wedding of her dreams all over again and has been working extra hours to make it happen.
Mr. Stamper started a GoFundMe page to help crowd fund the wedding and he raised nearly $6,000 in one month and has now received the kind gestures of a wedding photographer and a local DJ who offered their services for free. Locals in their community have chipped in to fund the rest of it according to WCYB.
Writing on the GoFundMe page he started, Mr. Stamper said:
About a month after the accident she finally told me. She said, 'I don't want you to be mad, but I do not remember the wedding.
The Stampers plan to get married on their first wedding anniversary, August 1st at the same venue in Virginia.
