Watching this trailer will give you all the feels (I'm not sure how I feel about that phrase but it seems weirdly appropriate). It is a mix of witty, straight to the point observations and trips down memory lane that are still relevant today, with classic Irish phrases thrown in for good measure. It's the type of trailer that will make you want to run and hug your grandparents and listen to all their stories for hours.
Older Than Ireland is an award-winning documentary by director Alex Fegan, that looks at one hundred years of life in Ireland as seen through the eyes of 30 men and women ranging from the age of 100-109 years old.
It hits Irish cinemas on 25th September and if the trailer is anything to go by it will provide endless giggles and classic Irishisms and I cannot wait to see it.
