Saoirse Ronan was one of four Irish nominees announced for a Golden Globe Award today, along with Michael Fassbender, Caitriona Balfe and two nominations for Irish film 'Room.'
Ronan is nominated for her role in Brooklyn, with Fassbender up for best actor for his role in Steve Jobs. Meanwhile Emma Donoghue has received an award nomination for writing Room, while it is also up for best film. Balfe is nominated for best actress in a TV series for her role in Outlander.
All in all it's been a good day for the Irish but of course they would manage to get Saoirse Ronan's name right when announcing the nominees. At this stage of her career you'd think they'd get it right.
It's Saoirse! Fucking learn it already!
"Sheesha Ronan" - don't you mean Saoirse Ronan? #GoldenGlobes #SaoirseRonan https://t.co/uUVjDDEqubhttps://t.co/sXg7B7UCha
