Watch: Colin Farrell Reading Excerpts From George Hook's Erotic Novel Is Oddly Superb

Today FM is on the road and is currently in Los Angeles so Colin Farrell popped in to the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning to chat about his new movie 'The Lobster', the success of True Detective, doing yoga but most importantly, George Hook's erotic novel.

Newstalk presenter Hook recently said that if his novel was to be made into a film he would like Farrell to play him in the movie.

Colin quickly chimed in with a potential name for the novel '50 shades of grump' before laughing and clarifying that he was only messing while joking that

...physical resemblance is uncanny, I could see where he'd be coming from with that one.

Colin then went on to do an impromptu audition for the role, reading out an excerpt from the novel and for someone who had no time to prepare he did a bloody good job, nailing the unique George accent.
