So Eddie Downey has now also stepped down from his role with the IFA but yet somehow, its chief executive John Delaney remains at the helm.
Earlier last week their general secretary Pat Smith resigned after his extortionate wages were revealed. €535,000. For being a secretary. For answering a few phones and whatnot.
Anyhow, with the departure of Downey and Smith we have to ask the question, why is nobody pointing the finger at their CEO? His supporters will argue about what he has done for the grassroots but I've been looking around the fields at home and the grass growth has been nothing short of diabolical.
In the coming days the herd needs to turn on Delaney and take him to task over these latest developments. After all how many times have we seen him milking good news stories in the past?
