I wonder if when 57-year-old Patsy Carville took off for Liverpool for his daughter's graduation, he knew he would provide us with such entertainment.
This was Patsy's first ever flight, and, sensing there might be a bit of an 'Irish dad freakout,' his other daughter Michelle kindly captured Patsy's maiden takeoff on camera.
I think he invents a few of his own words here, bless'im:
My daddy's first time on a plane & I managed to catch a video of "The Take Off"......it was too good not to share : ) ✈️

Michelle sent the video to Her.ie, and explained how Patsy pulled an absolute whopper of an Irish dad manouevre on the return flight:
On the return flight back to Ireland, he went into the cockpit to shake hands with the pilot to say thank you for getting him home safely and said, ‘Now I know why the pope kisses the ground in every country he arrives in’
She said.
Cracking stuff. We salute you, Patsy.
