In case you didn't know by know, Barack Obama joined Twitter yesterday. @POTUS has garnered a whopping 1.6 million followers in less than a day and Obama has put his new account to good use by engaging in some light hearted joshing with Bill Clinton.
Granted we're not entirely sure what constitutes 'serious craic' between the current Mr President and the former Mr President but, even if it is staged, a lot of people seemed to enjoy this.

@FLOTUS is the Twitter account of the First Lady, Michelle Obama. If Hilary Clinton does make it to the White House, we look forward to seeing the ceremonial handing over of the various social media accounts. Who said politicians had lost touch with the common people.
