Brave Irish woman, Emma Murphy, who last week publicly posted on her Facebook page, a video accusing her former partner, fitness instructor Francis Usanga, of domestic abuse has said that his apology is "complete lies" and that he has made no attempt to contact her or his children since the video was released and he admitted being violent towards her.
According to Independent.ie, Mr. Usanga said yesterday that he would like to see his ex-partner and get the chance to apologise to her in person saying:
I should never have raised my hand to her. You should never hit a woman or use violence
Although he did add that there had been two other violent altercations with Ms Murphy previously, stating:
I lost the head...I pushed her really hard in the face. ...it was with an open hand. It was more of a push, a real hard push. It was pretty violent and there's no excuse at all and I'm extremely sorry for that.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail today however, Ms. Murphy said that Mr. Usanga had not been in contact with her and that her main focus now was her children.
