Brian McFadden and his wife Vogue Williams have split up.
The former Westlife singer and the Irish model, who tied the knot in a lavish Tuscan ceremony back in September 2012, have called it a day after three years of marriage.
The couple confirmed the news on Twitter last night with identical tweets and a heartbreak emoji.

But what will go down in history as Ireland's first ever conscious uncoupling surely poses a few more pressing concerns;
No.1) Though I'm sure they're two nice folks, do Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams really have enough of a fanbase to justify the release of a joint statement? And furthermore, will this become a fad now? Should we all start releasing statements to announce splits with our significant others?
No.2) The former Westlife star tweeted it a minute before Vogue; was the heartbreak emoji indicative of the shock and horror experienced by a woman who had just suffered a surprise marital split over social media?
No.3) At 29 years of age, is Vogue Williams too old to use a heartbreak emoji?
I mean what is this, Bebo?

We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for the support during this difficult period. _____ x
Simply copy and paste it into 'Notes' on your iPhone, and fill the blanks with the relevant names. When complete, tweet a screenshot of the 'note,' but make sure to include the heartbreak emoji for maximum gravitas.
