Jon Stewart put the comedy to one side last night as he talked about the shooting that killed 9 people in South Carolina on Wednesday. It is an all too familiar situation that occurs in America and has obviously left Stewart with a feeling of despair.
He brilliantly breaks down the situation and surely echoes the feelings of a nation. He raises the point of "the disparity of response between when we think people that are foreign are going to kill us and us killing ourselves." It is a brilliantly spot on response that has to be seen.
