Well how about this for news on a Friday morning in January, a few days before the general election is called and a few months before 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising: a stencil bearing the signature of street art provocatuer Banksy has apparently surfaced on Moore St.

Moore Street, of course, is where the rebels who took over the GPO on Easter Mondayeventually surrendered to the Crown. Historic buildings at 14-17 Moore Street have been occupied all month, as protestors seek to halt redevelopment of the buildings for the commemoration of the 1916 centenary.
The stencil bears a Banksy signature, which is probably proof that this isn't a Banksy.
