We're slap bang in the middle of a huge meteor shower in the Irish skies, with astronomers and photographers no doubt beside themselves with excitement.
Wednesday night saw the biggest amount of activity for the Perseid meteor shower but it was last night that gave us this amazing photo, taken by Michael Stephen. He was at the Beacon in Baltimore to capture such a wondrous site.
