Jim Carrey's on-again/off-again girlfriend, Cathriona White, has reportedly died in her Los Angeles home, aged 28.
Law enforcement revealed to US entertainment site TMZ that they believe the Irish beautician overdosed on pills, as some were found near her body after two friends discovered her and alerted the police.
White is understood to have left 53-year-old actor Carrey a note, in which she referenced their breakup earlier this month.
On the same day, last Thursday, she tweeted the following:

White, originally from Tipperary, met Carrey in 2012 and the couple dated for a few months before going their separate ways. They were understood to have rekindled their relationship in May of this year, but split again last week.
